ELARABY Group Products in the international markets
Industry is one of the main basics of national economy, and one of the endeavors of Egypt is to encourage local products to achieve an integrated economy growth. ELARABY group is one of the pioneers that made the decision of industrialization on Egyptian land, in the late of seventies, when Hajj Mahmoud El Araby – may god have mercy on him – visited Japan and saw how much benefit would return not only to ELARABY group but to the whole country, how many workers would join ELARABY, how many houses would be built and certainly reduce the money used for importing, so industrialization decision launched in 1982.
The fan is the first product manufactured by ELARABY
The first product manufactured by ELARABY was the fan with a local manufacturing rate of 40% with quality comparable to Japanese quality, it was a challenge to gain the confidence of the Egyptian customer and ELARABY passed the challenge as the customer asked about products made by ELARABY that gave 5 years warranty period while the warranty period of the imported fan was only one year.
Now the local manufacturing rate exceeds 90% on some of ELARABY products, and that has enabled ELARABY to achieve another goal by establishing its own brand that competes international brands, this was achieved in 2006 by launching its brand “Tornado” which quickly approved itself in the market and become the favorite choice for many customers in addition to its global existence in more than 60 countries.
ELARABY exports its products globally
ELARABY group exports its products to more than 60 countries around the world, in 2023 ELARABY factories won 7 awards from the Engineering Industries Export Council as the largest Egyptian company exporting to international brands, and the group aims to increase exports and open new markets continuously, whether in the Arab or international markets.
In 2017, ELARABY Group established ELARABY Research and Development Center, which contains giant units to test the quality and conformity of products to the specifications required for export, and these tests have become available to all Egyptian companies as an alternative to sending a sample of their products abroad as ELARABY Group helps to raise the slogan “Made in Egypt” globally.
