ELARABY Group participates in the world largest humanitarian convoy to take care of 1 million families from the cold of winter

ELARABY Group participated in the largest humanitarian convoy in the world, launched by Tahya Misr Fund, at a cost exceeding one billion pounds, to support the most vulnerable families in preparation for the winter season, and the caravan targets one million families in all governorates of the Republic, as it included one million boxes of foodstuffs, 2,000 tons of poultry and one million blankets.

The caravan set off during the major celebration organized by Tahya Misr Fund under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic in the new administrative capital, entitled "نتشارك علشان بكرة". The ceremony was attended by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and several ministers and officials of several governmental and civil institutions and the business sector.

On her part, Mrs. Mariam Ibrahim Elaraby, Director of Social Responsibility Activity at ELARABY Group, explained that the convoy is a true example of the importance of cooperation and solidarity between all state institutions from government agencies, the business sector and civil society organizations under one umbrella and one goal that seeks to provide a decent life for all citizens and carry out comprehensive development In various fields.

Mariam Elaraby added that the caravan comes within the framework of ELARABY Group's participation in a number of presidential initiatives and in cooperation with Tahya Misr Fund and the Ministry of Social Solidarity, among which “حياة كريمة” Initiative, “دكان الفرحة” and “صحتك تهمنا” in addition to cooperation with a number of associations and civil society institutions in the fields of education, health, humanitarian aid and sustainable development.

It is worth noting that this convoy has entered the Guinness Book of Records as the largest humanitarian convoy in the world.
