El-Araby and Community Service El-Araby Group firmly believes that there is no potential for achieving advancement in both industry and trade, unless there is care and consideration of the community in which it exists, care and consideration of its needs, hopes and aspirations.

Therefore, it was necessary to establish El-Araby Foundation for Community Development as a charitable organization affiliated to El-Araby Group.

El-Araby Foundation for Community Development supports, through its branches in Cairo, Qalyoubia, and Menofiya, many low-income families.

As part of its efforts to help and safeguard the local community, the foundation gives monthly financial aids to widows, orphans, and poor families, in Cairo, Qalyoubia, and Menofiya governorates.

The foundation also gives annual financial aids on the occasion of Islamic feasts, distributes offerings' meats, and provides urgent financial aids in emergencies and calamities.

The foundation, which was registered in 2000, has been careful to provide assistance for building many mosques in the three governorates,The activities of El-Araby Foundation for Community Development can be summarized as follows:

- Providing Monthly Aids:


Monthly aids target poor families, people with special needs, and people with social problems, such as the ill, widows and divorced women who have no source of income, This is in addition to the aids provided in feasts and on other special occasions.

- Hospital of El-Araby Medical Center:


There is an agreement with El-Araby Medical Center to provide free medical services for the foundation's cases, The medical services include radiographs, tests, and medication, as well as performing some surgical operations, which are all free of charge.

- Marriage Assistance:


The foundation assists low-income couples in marriage preparations in different ways, either by giving them an amount of money, or providing them with home appliances, furniture, etc The foundation also organizes annual group wedding parties.

- One-Payment Assistance:


One-payment assistance is paid to individuals, organizations and associations in various forms by hajj Mahmoud El-Araby, either in cash or by cheques, in feasts and other celebrations, or to a person who has provided documentation of his income status.

- In-kind Donations:


In-kind donations include providing mosques with the necessary equipment and carpets, in addition to providing the required maintenance and renovation services.

In-kind donations also include providing the required equipment for hospitals and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), as well as distributing clothes among orphans and poor families.

- The Holy Quran Competition:


The foundation sponsors an annual competition for memorizing the Holy Quran in El-Radwan Mosque, where prizes are granted in cooperation with the mosque's administration.
